I like to refer to Aromatherapy as
The Fragrant World of Wellness!!
The aromatic part of the plant is called an essential oil.
It is to the plant what our own blood is to our body such as carrying oxygen and other healing sources throughout the plant.
Authentic, unadulterated essential oils are compatible with our own body's electrical frequency and therefore, when used by us, they enhance our system's ability to heal and maintain health.
Aromatherapy has several forms:
Using essential oils can be calming, uplifting and energizing.
They give our bodies support to repair from infections, colds, skin conditions, respiratory problems, muscular and skeletal issues and neurological conditions.
Pain relief if a very popular reason folks reach for their essential oils.
Circulatory issues and edema are also part of this healing support.
They have been used to maintain healthy emotionals.
They are wonderful to use to bring comfort to exciteable children.
Much research has been done with essential oils and cancers.
Essential oils are very valuable during the end of life experience.
They can be a natural "odor eater" for kitchens, diaper pails or other unpleasant odors.
Essential oils are also used to prevent insect bites
Animal lovers use essential oils to treat pets and even horses. Some animals, thought to need to be put down, were spared and returned to health by support from essential oil.
The list of uses for aromatherapy continues to grow with much excitement!
These wonderful treasures are so versatile that people who "are in the know" actually create a new medicine cabinet, replacing traditional over-the-counter chemical medications, and all the dangers of using them, with these gems, these gifts from God!
Watching a seed grow into a beautiful plant or magnificent tree gives us a clear understanding of the life force, the energy that can be captured for our own use via these essential oils!
Who wouldn't want that?!
Essential Oils are Harvested from Around the World
The plant kingdom continues to be the subject of an enormous amount of research and discovery.
Each year, millions of dollars are allocated to universities searching for new therapeutic agents that lie undiscovered in the bark, roots, flowers, seeds and foliage of jungle canopies, river bottoms, forests, hillsides, and vast wilderness regions throughout the world.
As the most powerful part of the plant, essential oils and plant extracts have been woven into history since time immemorial.
They provide exquisite fragrances to balance mood and lift emotions.
They can be a support to the body as it works to stimulate nerves.
They can even carry nutrients to, and oxygenate cells.
Essential oils are substances that definitely deserve the respect of proper education.
Using these amazing molecules during an appointment with me has helped so many of my clients, both men and women, return home with a new found feeling of balance and wellness.
Essential Oils are the vital fluids of the plant that contain life force, intelligence, and vibrational energy that imbues them with healing power that works for people.
They are composed of tiny molecules that can penetrate into every cell, administering healing therapy at the most fundamental levels of our bodies.
Their benefits extend to every aspect of our beings: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

When we encounter an emotionally charged situation, instead of being overwhelmed by it, we can diffuse essential oils, put them in our bath, or wear them as cologne.
The aromatic molecules will absorb into the blood stream from the nasal cavity to the limbic system.
They will activate the amygdala (the memory center of fear and trauma) and sedate and relax.
The oils help support the body in minimizing the acid that is created so that it does not initiate a reaction with the transcript enzyme.
