During the initial visit I get an idea for a starting point and taylor the plans to the individual such as

• coaching for the client to discover and take charge of his or her own health to regain and maintain wellness

Holistic Nursing:  The Art of Caring with the Goal of Healing 

The Holistic / Aromatherapy Appointment 

• The client has chosen to explore a life-approach of holism and more natural remedies to manage his or her own life and health 

• Relaxing with a cup of tea, we get to know each other while exchanging information regarding the client's conditions, hopes, expectations 

• A review of medical history, medications, etc, is shared 

• We discuss possible contributing factors and approaches to resolve the issue(s) of concern 

• A computer assessment of the body's needs might be done

• I give feedback, ideas, recommendations, other "food for thought"

• An Aromatherapy massage-like body works is offered, using essential oils chosen specificly for the client 

• The client is encouraged to actively participate in the management of the condition by co-creating a plan for follow-up at home 

•  Another appointment is planned to expand on the positive outcome
